Ramalho Têxtil, owner of the Denaná brand, is the most traditional hammocks factory in Brazil. Its headquarters is located in the industrial district of the city of Eusébio - State of Ceará, 18 km from Fortaleza, the State capital. Founded in 1944, the company currently directs most of its production to the international market.
Combining tradition with innovation, Ramalho Têxtil has been making history since its early days. It innovated when making the first exportation of hammocks from Ceará to Europe in the late '70s. Grew with the pioneering automation of its looms in the '80s. Dared to adopt design concepts into its production in the 90s. Moved on to adopt an Integrated Strategic Management in the early 2000.
Finally, it became once again a true pioneer when it launched its e-commerce website in March 2008. Ramalho Têxtil was the first hammock factory in Brazil to sell directly to consumers through its online Denaná store (online sales limited to the Brazilian territory).
This way, Ramalho Têxtil has relentlessly been seeking to accomplish its mission: "to spread and preserve the tradition of the hammock in Brazil and the world". Thanks for your visit.
